Brad DoanChief Executive Officer
Brad Doan is driving the company’s growth, strategies, and business partnerships. Having arrived to Sperasoft as a Sr. Director of PMO, Brad was able to drive a successful international transformation of the company. He provided his vision, strategy, development, and implementation of various project management initiatives company-wide. He employed his intelligent leadership to move the organization to project management best practices.
Mr. Doan has over 20 years’ experience in film, TV and AAA game production with over 30 credited titles including work on the Battlefield series from DICE, the Need for Speed series from Criterion and Ghost, the Motocross vs ATV series published by THQ, as well as many others. Prior to joining Sperasoft, Brad held Studio Director of Production position at Electronic Arts in China. Brad Doan is a graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas and has a degree in Computer Animation/Multimedia.
Denis LarkinChief Commercial Officer
Denis Larkin is leading the commercial success of the company. He is responsible for strategic direction development and company plans with regard to all commercial functions including business development, marketing, and customer experience. Thanks to Mr. Larkin, Sperasoft is growing its professional network and becoming more recognized within the games development industry. Prior to taking on this position, he was responsible for Business Development, all Engineering, QA, and Support at Sperasoft.
Denis brought a wealth of experience and skills to Sperasoft, including an uncommon specialty in managing distributed teams and drove offshore development teams. Mr. Larkin leads Sperasoft teams in providing cutting-edge solutions for game development and delivering successful products through strong leadership and technical innovation. Prior to joining Sperasoft, Denis Larkin managed distributed teams, oversaw outsourcing software development and design, and built high demand platforms for the Russian Government Federal institutions. Mr. Larkin holds a Master of Science Degree in IT from St. Petersburg University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, Russia.
Alan Van SlykeChief Production Officer
Alan Van Slyke leads Production Organization as well as oversees all service delivery of complex projects. Mr. Van Slyke brings to Sperasoft strong leadership and breadth of experience spanning publishing and development production, online operations, and client/server games. Alan has worked in the development and publishing of games and entertainment titles since 1996.
Prior to joining Sperasoft, Mr. Van Slyke’s positions included: Lead Architect in the Worldwide Technology division (EA), Director of Production (Sony Computer Entertainment / Zipper Interactive), and Senior Producer (Epic Games) where he led the development effort of Gears of War. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University, USA.
Craig RundelsChief Operations Officer
Craig Rundels is responsible for Sperasoft’s ongoing operations and procedures, business efficiency, and overall studio health. He leads employees to provide maximum performance and dedication as well as to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. Before taking on this position, Mr. Rundels spent 5 years as a Sr. Director at Sperasoft overseeing the Art Department and service delivery of all art content development for our clients.
Prior to joining Sperasoft, Craig’s positions included: Founder/Studio Head (Gigawatt Entertainment), Director of Outsourcing (Foundation 9), Sr. Art Director (Midway Games), Outsourcing Manager (Crystal Dynamics), Sr. Lead Artist/Project Art Director (LucasArts), and Studio Art Director (Heatwave Interactive). Mr. Rundels has worked on many top licenses over the years including Star Wars, Gauntlet, Spy Hunter, Mortal Kombat, DC’s Justice League, Sonic The Hedgehog, Nickelodeon, and Tomb Raider. Craig is a graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas and holds a degree in Computer Animation/Multimedia.
Valeriy DutchakSr. Director of Engineering
Valeriy Dutchak is a head of Engineering Department in Sperasoft and brings his 30+ years IT background to excel the company’s delivery capabilities and ensure its technological leadership. He leverages best in industry practices to maintain world-class services for Sperasoft’s clients through embedded innovation, standardized processes, and constant growth of professional skills across engineering teams.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Dutchak took managerial positions in both IT vendor and system integrator companies, including Program Manager at Teradata, where he managed portfolio of projects for enormous 1PB datawarehouse in Sberbank, Manager of Global Delivery Center at Hewlett Packard with enterprise clients all over the world, and Director of Operations at Ajilon Consulting, serving big US financial institutions and media companies. Valeriy graduated from Moscow Institute of Electron Technology (MIET) with an Engineer of Electronics degree.
Anna TrofimovaSr. Director of Business Operations
Anna Trofimova leads Sperasoft’s day-to-day business and financial operations, having previously been responsible for HR. Prior to joining Sperasoft, she held senior account management positions with companies including Baltic Communications (BCL), a British-Russian joint venture telephone company, ZAO Citibank Russia, and Golden Telecom, a leading provider of integrated telecommunications and internet services in Russia and CIS countries.
Ms. Trofimova is recognized for building from scratch, organizing and directing the work of customer service departments and for managing and growing VIP and top-level corporate client accounts. Anna Trofimova holds a Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Eastern European University, St. Petersburg, Russia, and a Master of Science Degree in Management from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Eric MarlowSenior Director of Studio, Krakow
Eric Marlow leads a European office of Sperasoft. He is responsible for local studio development, operations and collaboration, overall company growth. Eric has 20+ years working in the games industry, having worked for companies such as Zynga, Reliance Games, and Kuju Entertainment. He was also a founding partner in the Denver-based quality assurance company iBeta. He has led or contributed to the development of a number of games, including Silent Hill 8, Mafia Wars, Real Steel, Pacific Rim, Real Steel, Top Gun, After Earth, and LOTR – Aragorn’s Quest. He has a significant experience working in Asia and Europe and has led the startup and growth of several offices overseas.
Prior to his entry in game development, Eric worked at the “Big 4” management consulting firm Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) where he was involved in developing the business and technology strategies for a number of Fortune 500 companies, including Samsung, Sheraton Hotels, UPS, Coca-Cola, and American Airlines. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management Information Systems.
Paul HouldersSr. Director of Art
Paul Houlders leads Art Department in Sperasoft and is responsible for all art content development for our partners and clients. He strategically approaches all creative projects, maintains visual innovations, manages and inspires art team to effectively explore, enhance, and expand on skills and creative approaches. Paul has over 10 years of experience of working with co-development teams, helping to drive many of the best practices now employed when engaging multi-location teams.
Prior to Sperasoft, Mr. Houlders was an APAC Group Art Director for EA (Shanghai) and has been involved at every level of production and worked across many AAA titles. His back catalog of credits includes titles such as Need for Speed, Formula One and Destruction Derby, Battlefield, Star Wars, Medal of Honor, PVZ. Paul studied Theatre and Stage Design at Mountview Academy for Theatre Arts, London.
Devin YoungSr. Director of PMO
Devin Young leads the PMO department at Sperasoft where he brings more than 20+ experience in leadership, project management, and game development. He is responsible for managing and mentoring a dedicated and professional team of Project Managers who manage and collaborate with our partners on numerous projects. Devin works to ensure that project management best practices are developed, implemented and managed to maximize the effort across all cross-functional development teams and provide maximum value and quality to clients and partners.
Prior to joining Sperasoft, Devin held production and management positions at Sanctuary Woods, Disney Interactive and InLight Entertainment. During his time at Disney, he worked his way from Senior and Executive Producer to become Studio Manager at Disney Interactive (Victoria, Canada). Mr. Young went on to purchase the studio from Disney and then lead the company successfully for 16 years. InLight Entertainment was a leader in making games for kids on various platforms with large branded properties. Devin holds a bachelor’s degree in Film and Broadcast from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
